- Nissan will reportedly introduce the redesigned Armada this December.
- The model will likely follow in the footsteps of the 2025 Infiniti QX80 and feature a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6.
- We can also expect a redesigned Murano and a new Rogue Rock Creek.
Nissan has come a long way in the past few years as the company has introduced new or updated versions of the Altima, Sentra, Kicks, Rogue, Frontier, and Z. Now the company is preparing to unveil redesigned versions of the Armada and Murano, both of which will launch this year.
According to dealers who spoke to Autonews, the next-generation crossover will focus on luxury and resemble the Acura MDX. Specifics are in short supply, but the model will reportedly have a bold grille as well as a “wide Porsche-like rear.”

The crossover is slated to ride on an updated version of the D platform, which underpins the current model as well as the Pathfinder and Infiniti QX60. The publication also says we can expect a turbocharged four-cylinder engine and a nine-speed automatic transmission.
There’s no word on displacement or output, but the powertrain would be a big change as the current Murano has a 3.5-liter V6 developing 260 hp (194 kW / 264 PS) and 240 lb-ft (325 Nm) of torque. It’s paired to an Xtronic continuously variable transmission and an available all-wheel drive system.

The Armada, on the other hand, should echo the 2025 Infiniti QX80. As a result, we can expect an evolutionary design as well as a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 producing 450 hp (336 kW / 456 PS) and 516 lb-ft (699 Nm) of torque. The SUV is also slated to be more luxurious and high-tech, which shouldn’t be hard to accomplish.
Dealers didn’t go into detail, but the QX80 has a 14.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 14.3-inch infotainment system, and a 9-inch lower display. The model can also be equipped with ProPILOT Assist 2.1, which is a Level 2 semi-autonomous driving system that allows for hands-free operation.
Those won’t be the only new additions as the Rogue will receive the Rock Creek treatment. The trim debuted on the Pathfinder and will reportedly see its smaller counterpart outfitted with a lift, off-road tires, and a beefy roof rack.
A debut is expected to occur in the third quarter, so we can likely expect to learn full details this summer.
