Forget watches. How about this for some bling? Bayer Leverkusen‘s Jeremie Frimpong took one from the NBA Championship playbook and customized commemorative rings for each of his teammates.
The team completed their invincible Bundesliga season on Saturday with a victory over Augsburg, notching 28 victories and 6 draws. They can earn even more silverware over the next two weeks, featuring in the Europe League and DFB-Pokal final.
Jeremie Frimpong got special rings made for his teammates to commemorate Leverkusen’s unbeaten season. Frimpong even helped design them.

Until then, the “Neverkusen” roster can proudly flaunt their luxury 120 white diamond jewels off the pitch.
Each ring has each player’s name and squad number with the text “DEUTSCHER FUSSBALL MEISTER” (German Football Champion) engraved around the outer edge. On the side of the ring, the club’s motto, “FACTORY ELEVEN FOOTBALL PASSION,” radiates.
Frimpong sourced high-end luxury maker Pascal to create the bespoke rings. What a classy gesture from the Dutch defender.
