Back in April, Nike unveil Bill Bowerman’s “Blueprint” Pack, a collection of performance footwear designed to shave milliseconds off of movement in an effort to change medal standings. Winning truly comes down to fractions of time, and in the game of basketball, it’s that advantage that can impact the final score at the end. In comes the Nike Zoom GT Cut 3 from the Bowerman “Blueprint” Pack, covered in an iconic pattern in Nike history.
The third iteration of the celebrated GT Cut saga, the Cut 3 appears completely dominated by the dotted pattern created by Tinker Hatfield. Hits of volt green and total orange burst out through select accents, while a black toe-guard matches the interior lining, tongue, and heel. Alternate branding appears via the “Nike” on the heel that mimics the actual handwriting of Nike founder Bill Bowerman.
As you can tell, Safari print will be central in the storytelling around the Nike Blueprint Pack for the Summer Olympics. We’ve already seen the SB Dunk Low “Safari” as well as the Blazer, but expected plenty more on the performance end as we’ll uncover first looks a variety of other Nike sneakers from this collection.
For now, a firm release for the GT Cut 3 “Safari” has not yet been announced; see the official images ahead and stay tuned for updates.
