Fiat dropped the 500X in the United States after the 2023 model year, so we were a bit surprised after coming across a post promoting it. However, after doing a little digging, it seems that Fiat needs all the help it can get to clear out excess inventory.
A quick search online reveals dealers have 277 units listed as new and available. While a few of the older models actually appear to be used, Fiat still has months worth of supply.

In the first quarter, Fiat sold 113 500X crossovers. That equates to roughly 38 per month, which means the company is currently sitting on more than seven months of supply. Doing the math, that should be enough inventory to last until 2025.
However, if you’re looking for a bargain, there’s plenty to be had. Missouri’s Napleton Mid Rivers Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram has a 2023 Fiat 500X Pop listed for $22,777. That’s more than $10,000 off its MSRP of $32,930.
Florida’s Winter Haven Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Fiat is so eager to get rid of their 500X Pop, it sports a graphic proclaiming “$7,000 OFF.” However, they’re asking $27,500, which is only $4,295 less than the MSRP of $31,795.
Other dealers appear content to let their crossovers sit on the lot and fill up space as they’re listed at MSRP or slightly below. As a result, there are numerous vehicles with price tags in excess of $36,000. Few would argue the 500X was worth that price originally, let alone now.
As a refresher, the 2023 Fiat 500X started at $30,245 and featured a turbocharged 1.3-liter four-cylinder engine with 177 hp (132 kW) and 210 lb-ft (285 Nm) of torque. It was paired to a nine-speed automatic transmission and a standard all-wheel drive system.
Other highlights include heated front seats and a 7-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, as well as an Al-Fresco soft top, a rather unusual choice for a crossover.
