We’ve talked about it many times, but for those of you that don’t know, The King of the Hammers Race of Kings is some of the most insane, unique, and entertaining off-road racing on the planet. I’ve been fortunate enough to go to the Baja 1000, King of the Hammers, tons of short course races, rock crawling events, and so much more, but Hammers is the one that embodies them all and draws off-road enthusiasts from all walks of life to Johnson Valley each and every year. The pinnacle event of the entire multi-week extravaganza is the Race of Kings. It’s a sight to behold, and the action is amazing to experience. Of course the location is truly something special as well and I can’t explain the fun I’ve had out there over the years.
In fact, not being able to just drive a few hours up the mountain to attend Hammers is one of the things that sucks about moving to Texas. But I digress.
