Colourpop Liquid Blush landed today and yes, they are over there duping Rare Beauty Rare Beauty By Selena Gomez Soft Pinch Liquid Blush like a champion. Rare Beauty’s sitting there like who duped our blush and Colourpop is all I Did Whatcha Gonna Do About It? Nothing! I guess copying stuff is the ultimate form of flattery right now.
Colourpop’s new Liquid Blush is available in eight shades for $10 bucks each. They promise a weightless, creamy formula that contains Hyaluronic and Polyglutamic Acid for hydration which should make for a smooth, even finish. They also contain sea moss that apparently retains moisture but I thought that was what the Hyaluronic Acid Polyglutamic Acid was for?! And a bit of niacinamide as well. Do we really need all all this stuff in a simple blush?
The blushes are $10 each which makes them a touch higher than the Camo Liquid Blush from E.L.F. Cosmetics which are $7 each but Colourpop’s version may be bigger! Sadly, they don’t mention the size on the website which is frustrating. I’m personally not a fan of the Camo Liquid Blush. They just added a few new shades but I thought the original shade line up was awful plus it’s super pigmented so I literally feel like I’m applying paint on my face as they are just TOO pigmented. The Colourpop Liquid Blush Collection has much more flattering shades. Hopefully, they aren’t as garish and bold as the E.L.F. ones!
