While Starfield players may want to experience the pure escapism of flying off into space without worrying about relatable issues like covering rent and paying back loans, a new mod is making finances more realistic. Generally speaking, it’s incredibly easy to gather up a vast horde of Credits in Starfield; when cash isn’t looted off a corpse, it’s usually dumped on players as a reward for completing a quest. It’s certainly nice to never worry about burning through money but at the same time, it’s frustrating that aside from spending it on gear, Credits don’t really serve a purpose.
