SKINCARE | #OOTD Beauty Skincare Routine

We now need to seal in our serums with a solid moisturizer as our “skincare helmet”! This shea butter-based moisturizer features niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, ceramides and peptides though the latter three ingredients are the last ones in the ingredients list. 

What you will notice is the packaging is the pump-style dispenser where you press down for “fresh” product every time. While I can understand this type of packaging, I find that it takes up a lot of room on my counter and that when it gets down to the last few pumps of product, I will probably find a way to tear open the jar as I don’t like the unknown of “how much product is left in there??” 

The texture of this moisturizer leans towards the thicker side, but it is not greasy and has a skin-like finish with hydration that lasts all day. For more humid weather though, I only use a half pump as a little bit of product goes a long way.

This eye serum is more like a gel-cream so I use it as a serum/moisturizer and though it has a slight fragrance, I do not smell it once it is on my skin. While I was not sure if there would be any noticeable decrease in my dark circles, someone commented that my dark circles “weren’t that bad” so maybe there has been an improvement? Overall, it has been a pleasant eye serum to use and I like that it is easily spreadable around the orbital bone and feels like I have nothing on.

Final verdict: Super solid products across the board with the Dark Spot Vitamin C Serum and Triple Hyaluron Serum Glowing Mask being my favourite products and likely products I would purchase! The ingredients of the #OOTD Beauty products were very no nonsense and to the point that along with the affordable pricing, how could I not want to continue to use these products and/or try more?! I am curious about their retinol products as I am always interested in more “gentle” retinol products. Overall, I was really pleased with what I tried from #OOTD Beauty and look forward to trying more from them!
