Toyota has unveiled a new special version of the 2025 GR86, called the GR86 Hakone special edition. This is the second time that Toyota has offered a Hakone edition of the GR86, with the original being offered for the 2020 model year.
Just like the first version, the 2025 GR86 Hakone special edition is painted in green, which this time is called Ridge Green. It also gets 18-inch satin bronze-finished wheels, a duck-tail spoiler, black accents and a Hakone badge. The cabin gets Ultrasuede seats with tan leather trim and stitching, a Hakone special edition shift knob with bronze accents and a GR special edition plaque.

The 2025 GR86 Hakone special edition is based on the Premium trim level. To amp up the performance it gets Brembo brakes and SACHS dampers.
Toyota only plans to build 860 units and it will arrive in the fall. Toyota has not announced the pricing.
