Singapore June 2024: BYD (+571.7%), Hyundai (+231.3%) impress, sales up 61.8%

Hyundai sales are up 231.3% year-on-year in Singapore.

3,774 new cars found a buyer in Singapore in June, a fantastic 61.8% year-on-year improvement. However keep in mind June 2023 was off -28.4% on the year prior. H1 2024 volumes are up 40.5% to 18,576. Toyota (+10.7%) is shy and sees its share fall to 15.9% vs. 17% year-to-date. BMW (+79.5%) is up two spots on last month to #2, distancing Mercedes (+34%) and BYD (+571.7%) still in exceptional shape. Honda (+93.9%), Tesla (+163.2%), Hyundai (+231.3%) and Nissan (+79.7%) also shine below.
