Awayuki reacts to the reveal of Live-On’s fourth generation, but is perturbed to learn the first newbie, Souma Alice, is a hardcore Awayuki/Shuwa-chan stan. Her room is lined with photos and she’s recorded every second of ber beloved’s audio. She immediately follows her introduction by asking if she can be Awayuki’s woman. Awayuki is taken aback. She’d always dreamt of being a VTuber senpai … be careful what you wish for!
Ther second 4th-genner is Sonokaze Eirai (MAO), the elvish director of a virtual zoo. She starts by dispelling the stereotype of gorillas liking bananas (not actually part of their diet in nature) but soon goes into a lot of detail about their genetalia, which is perhaps a sign of things to come with her streams. But perhaps no one is more unhinged than Yamatani Kaeru (Kayano Ai), who inists that despite looking and sounding like an adult woman, she is actually a baby who is looking for mommies.
As a palate-cleanser for the 4th-genners’ intro, Awayuki invites Mashiron on her stream to view and critique some of the racier pieces of NSFW fan art made of her. The last one is so pornographic, Shuwa uses her own avatar as a censor bar over most of the image. Mashiron congratulates Shuwa for being judicious enough to avoid being hit with the ban-hammer.
Finally Awayuki, knowing she can’t hold off the inevitable, agrees to the latest of Alice’s countless collab requests (formalized by an overly formal and verbose DM composed of thousands of words). Alice decides to replay “the birth of Shuwa-chan”, which is the moment she fell in love. This is the first time Awayuki is reliving that fateful night when she left her equipment on and went viral.
As she watches the impeccably-edited replay (there were no visuals before, but Alice has been hard at work for hundreds of hours making them), Awayuki is initially paralyzed by the cringe, but eventually embraces it, even if she’s still not quite sure about this Alice girl, or why Live-On hired a potential cyberstalker…
