Nissan has unveiled the 2025 Nissan Frontier, which gets some enhancements for the new model year, like styling changes, improved tech and an increased tow rating.
On the outside, the 2025 Frontier gets a new front fascia with a redesigned grille and bumper. PRO-X/PRO-4X model get an updated tailgate. New 17-inch wheels top off the exterior updates. Inside there’s new dashboard trim, telescopic-adjusting steering wheel, a sliding rear window. A four-way power passenger seat is now standard on the PRO-X/PRO-4X and SL trim levels. On SV grades and higher, the six-way power driver’s seat now has two-way power lumbar.
The Frontier SL feels more luxurious with its leather seats, heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, LED exterior lighting and a Fender audio system with 10 speakers.

SV trim levels and higher get a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. For the Frontier PRO 4X, it’s Intelligent Around View Monitor make the camera system has been imprived. The Off-Road Mode viewing function can now be used while driving at speeds up to 12 mph.
Nissan says that in response to customer requests, it has expanded availability of the Crew Cab long-wheelbase version with the 6-foot bed from SV to SV, PRO-4X and SL trims. The maximum towing capacity has increased to 7,150 pounds, which is an increase around 500 pounds more than last year’s model.
On the safety front, the 2025 Frontier comes standard with lane departure warning, blind spot warning, rear cross traffic alert, rear parking sensors, automatic high beams and adaptive cruise control. The Frontier SL also features traffic sign recognition.
Under the hood the 2025 Frontier is powered by a 3.8-liter V6 engine that generates 310 horsepower and 281 pound-feet of torque. The V6 is mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission.
The 2025 Nissan Frontier will arrive later this summer.
