BYD ranks #9 in Ukraine in July.
The Ukrainian new car market soars 20.3% year-on-year in July to 6,389 units, leading to a year-to-date tally up 21.9% to 39,456. Toyota (+16%) easily stays on top with 16% share, identical to its YTD level. BMW (+63.1%) ranks #2 again with an outstanding 9.8% share vs. 6.9% so far this year. Renault (+4.1%) is weak while Skoda (-23.3%) and Volkswagen (-36.4%) both sink. Excellent performances of Nissan (+76.7%) and Honda (+237.9%) but the most dynamic is BYD (+407%) up 8 spots on last month to crack the Ukrainian Top 10 for the first time at #9 with 218 sales and 3.4% share. Its previous bests were #11 and 3.2% share in January 2024 and 166 sales in February 2024.
