With D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event being Disney’s biggest event for new announcements within the company, many of us expected Star Wars to show up with quite a few new announcements in order, but this wasn’t the case. In the past, Star Wars has made use of the opportunity D23 gives them to provide updates on upcoming Star Wars projects. At the last D23 in 2022, Star Wars publicly released three new trailers, confirmed three TV show release dates, and provided updates on two brand-new live-action TV shows. This year’s D23 did not match that past energy.
