If you’ve been begging BMW to bring an M-badged wagon the U.S., today is your day. BMW has unveiled the 2025 M5 Touring, which is a wagon version of the M5 sedan.
Under the hood the M5 Touring is powered by the same plug-in hybrid powertrain as the M5 sedan, which generates a total 717 horsepower thanks to its 577 hp V8 engine and 194 hp electric motor. The powertrain is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive is standard. The good news is that the all-wheel drive system is rear biased so you can switch it off to turn it into a rear-wheel drive wagon.
BMW says that the M5 Touring only needs 3.5 seconds to reach 60 mph, which is just a tenth slower than the M5 sedan. The top speed is limited to 155 mph, but the optional M Driver’s package increases the top speed to 190 mph.

Production of the 025 BMW M5 Touring is slated to begin later this year and it will arrive at dealers in early 2025. The pricing starts at $122,675.
