We’ve been sharing tons of Bonneville Speed Week photos with you guys over the past 10 days, but seeing what the salt and speed are like from a car actually racing down the salt is something else entirely. Roadsters are a completely different animal when it comes to racing at Bonneville. And while one doing 144 mph doesn’t sound insane, consider that it has a flathead in it and that it’s still a roadster which likes to go backwards as much as a forwards. I often say that the problem with roadsters is that the back tires and the front tires are constantly racing each other. That’s fine, but not if the rear tires start winning the race.
