Damian Lillard acknowledges that he and the Milwaukee Bucks didn’t meet expectations last season. However, Lillard explained why and emphasized that he was not physically breaking down.
“I’m not a player that’s breaking down,” Lillard said. “I live a clean, good, healthy life, so I can do it. I can do the same (expletive) I did two, three years ago. I can do it right now.”
Along with dealing with multiple injuries, Lillard was also facing significant off-court challenges, which affected his performance and reduced his efficiency.
