If you ever in your life wanted to smell like a Glade Air Freshener now is your chance because Dove Apple Cider Caramel Body Wash and Body Scrub is giving air freshener and I don’t hate that! As you may know Dove recently launched a new, limited-edition Holiday Treats Collection for Fall 2024 featuring two new scents and one returning favorite from last year. Last year, the collection launched for the Holiday 2023 season but this year we got the collection for Fall which leads me to believe we may see another round of fragrances as Christmas draws nearer.
I’ve already reviewed the Dove Pecan Butter Crunch scent in a prior post and shared some thoughts on Cinnamon Pumpkin Pie. And after trying Apple Cider Caramel I can honestly say that this collection goes heavier on the scent compared to what we saw last year. Sugar Cookie, for example, was a bit weak and didn’t really smell like Sugar Cookie at all. This year the scents are way stronger!
Dove Apple Cider Caramel is available in a deodorant, body wash, body scrub, and hand soap. Missing from this year’s collection would be the bars of soap that Dove had available with the Holiday 2023 Collection and it seems those were replaced with the new deodorants.
Unlike, the Dove Cinnamon Pumpkin Pie formula the Apple Cider Caramel Body Wash is a regular, non-exfoliating formula. I’m not a big, big fan of the exfoliating body washes and prefer this formula. It creates a ton of creamy lather, doesn’t dry my skin out, and washes clean away without leaving a film. Best part is obviously the scent. It does sort of give off Fall candle or air freshener vibes with a mix of spicy apples and cinnamon and a creamy touch of caramel. It’s very much a caramel apple fragrance and it’s strongly scented and lingers a bit on skin! The body scrub is a gentle scrub that’s super creamy and creates a foaming lather when water is added. It also, has a very strong caramel apple fragrance.
These are $6.97 each and quite massive in size with the body wash weighing in at 20 oz and the scrub at 10.5 oz. Making them a fun, affordable pick for your Fall showers. I loved the Dove Apple Cider Caramel scent and I do think anyone that adores Fall and all the wonderful scents that come along with it will love this one as much as I did.
