The Phoenix Suns are letting go of forwards Nassir Little and EJ Liddell. By doing so, they free up a roster spot and gain flexibility for future signings and trades throughout the season. The team will spread out the remaining $22 million over three years on Little’s contract.
Suns’ management has high expectations for rookies Ryan Dunn and Oso Ighodaro, and these releases give both players a greater chance to contribute next season, as well as provide room for further roster adjustments.
