Born just before the turn of the 20th century, Alfred Hitchcock was an English director and filmmaker, whose remarkable career spanned six decades. His first opportunity to direct came from Gainsborough Pictures with a movie called Number 13, but unfortunately, due to financial difficulties, it was never finished. Despite a shaky start, Hitchcock’s influence on the film industry became nothing short of legendary, earning him the honorary title “Master of Suspense” for his innovative cinematography techniques.
