The Atlanta Dream’s three-game winning streak ended on Friday night, with Brittney Griner, Diana Taurasi and the Phoenix Mercury earning the 82-80 victory. Swish Appeal’s Christina Merrion was there to photograph the game.

On Friday, Aug. 23, the Atlanta Dream hosted the Phoenix Mercury for the second of a two-game set. After Atlanta won the first contest on Wednesday, with Tina Charles becoming the No. 2 scorer in WNBA history in the process, Phoenix earned the edge on Friday, snapping the Dream’s three-game winning streak with the 82-80 victory.

With 18,023 points between them, the Mercury’s Diana Taurasi and the Dream’s Tina Charles share a moment after the game. Charles ended the night with a third-straight double-double of 14 points and 13 rebounds.
