The Fox police procedural focuses on the cases of the Jeffersonian Institute Medico-Legal Lab, and their developing relationships in their personal lives. Beginning in September 2005, Bones ran for 246 episodes across 12 seasons to generally positive praise, plus several award nominations and wins for certain cast members and episodes.
