Cedi Osman declined an offer from the Los Angeles Lakers before signing with EuroLeague champions Panathinaikos.
The 29-year-old Turkish forward had interest from the Lakers but opted to return to Europe after considering his options.
According to Eurohoops, Osman was in advanced talks with Real Madrid but could not finalize a deal with the Spanish club.
The Lakers invited Osman to join their training camp, but there were no guarantees he would secure a spot on the season roster.
