Kia has announced that it will soon offer North American Charging Standard (NACS) adapters for the EV6 and EV9, which will give owners the ability to charge using Tesla’s Supercharger network.
Buyers who bought the 2024 or 2025 Kia EV9 or 2024 Kia EV6 from September 4, 2024, and later, will receive an adapter free of charge. The free adapters are slated to arrive in early 2025. If you took delivery prior to September 4, 2024, Kia will let you purchase the adapter.
Access to the Supercharger network is planned for January 15, 2025.
