The LA Lakers have agreed a trade with the Brooklyn Nets to acquire Dorian Finney-Smith.
Amid heating speculation, the LA Lakers have agreed a trade with the Brooklyn Nets, per ESPN.

- Second round draft picks in 2027, 2030, 2031
This is the second time D’Angelo Russell has been traded away by the LA Lakers to the Brooklyn Nets. He was traded away in 2017 in a deal for Brook Lopez and Kyle Kuzma.
Maxwell Lewis had been playing for the South Bay Lakers, and had failed to carve out a spot on the roster under JJ Redick.
Finney-Smith now joins his third NBA team, following seven seasons with the Dallas Mavericks, joining the Nets in 2023.
