Bradley Beal is not interested in joining one Eastern Conference side. And they were going to be one of the key teams in the Jimmy Butler trade.
With the trade deadline just under two weeks, away, rumors about star players are ramping up. Fans are unsure where several big names will end up.
Despite having a no-trade clause, Bradley Beal‘s name has popped up several times. The Phoenix Suns have been interested in landing Jimmy Butler, but Bradley Beal can make or break any trade they come up with.
What makes this deal even more complicated is the Miami Heat. It appears the Heat also do not want Bradley Beal in any deal either.
One recent idea pitched has suggested Beal join the Chicago Bulls while Butler ends up on the Suns. But from the latest reports, it appears that might not happen.

Bradley Beal says ‘No’ to Chicago
The Athletic is reporting that Bradley Beal will not waive his no-trade clause for the Chicago Bulls. Beal wants to join a winning team in a city with warm weather, and Chicago meets neither category.
“Phoenix Suns guard Bradley Beal will not waive his no-trade clause to go to the Chicago Bulls. There are destinations Beal would consider approving.”
“… Going to a winning team would be his first priority. However, cold-weather cities, including Chicago, are less attractive to him, the source said. If a team has a losing record and a chilly winter, it won’t be on Beal’s list.”
This could prove a massive challenge for the Phoenix Suns. The Bulls were one of the few teams that were willing to help them in their pursuit of Jimmy Butler.
But it looks like another team could swoop in and trade for Butler. And unlike the Suns, they have exactly what the Heat are looking for.

Milwaukee Bucks want Jimmy Butler
Marc Stein reported recently that the Milwaukee Bucks could be a team to enter the Jimmy Butler sweepstakes. And with players like Bobby Portis and Khris Middleton available, they can offer the Heat exactly what they want – win-now players whose contracts expire ahead of the stacked 2026 free agency class.
The report also states that the Bucks will have to move Pat Connaughton’s salary to make any deal for Butler happen.
“Milwaukee, at the very least, has rival teams wondering if a Butler bid is forthcoming. The Bucks still can’t trade for a player in Butler’s salary range unless/until they shed Pat Connaughton’s $9.4 million salary…”
“Would the Heat, just to end this draining Butler saga ASAP, be willing to trade Butler for Khris Middleton and Bobby Portis? Neither player, crucially, has a contract that extends past 2025-26, which… is a huge priority for Miami.”
It appears the Milwaukee Bucks want to land Jimmy Butler. Landing Butler might be a little difficult, considering they wouldn’t give up Damian Lillard or Giannis Antetokounmpo.
