Although Volvo’s current lineup mainly consists of SUVs, now that the S60 is gone, Volvo isn’t giving up on sedans. Volvo has released the first teaser photos of the new electric ES90, which will be revealed on March 5.

The ES90 will be the first Volvo equipped with a dual NVIDIA DRIVE AGX Orin configuration. The core computer has computational power around 508 trillion operations per second to manage the functionalities of the AI-based features, car sensors and battery management.

The ES90 is based on the SPA2 architecture and it will be the second Volvo with the Superset tech stack, following the EX90. The Superset tech stack features one single set of hardware and software modules and systems for Volvo’s EVs.

The sedan will feature lots of sensors, including one lidar, five radars, eight cameras and twelve ultrasonic sensors.
