Just starting to come to terms with his newfound supernatural powers when the sky god Zeus accuses him of stealing his master lightning bolt. Now Percy must find it and restore order to Olympus. Prime Video has revealed the official trailer for a romantic thriller arriving this winter called Role Play, the latest from a French filmmaker Thomas Vincent who has been directing TV series most recently. It's set to launch streaming on Prime Video in January, skipping theaters entirely. Emma has a wonderful husband and two kids in the suburbs of New Jersey – she also has a secret life as an assassin for hire – a secret that her husband David discovers when the couple decide to spice up their marriage with a little role play. For some reason they end up in Berlin together? Who knows why. Starring Kaley Cuoco and David Oyelowo, with Connie Nielsen, Rudi Dharmalingam, Lucia Aliu, and Bill Nighy. Sony Pictures has revealed a full official trailer for the awkward romantic comedy Anyone But You, an original creation from co-writer / director Will Gluck and co-writer Ilana Wolpert (story editor on "High School Musical: The Musical: The Series"). This super sensual & ridiculously funny comedy is set to arrive in theaters in December right before the end of the year during the holiday season. After an amazing first date, Bea and Ben's fiery attraction turns ice cold--until they find themselves unexpectedly reunited at a destination wedding in Australia. So they do what any two mature adults would do: pretend to be a couple. Then it all gets even hotter as the wedding party begins... Vertical has unveiled the official trailer for an assassin action film called Fast Charlie, the latest feature from acclaimed filmmaker Phillip Noyce (of Patriot Games, Clear and Present Danger, The Saint, Salt, The Giver). Pierce Brosnan stars as Charlie Swift – a fixer with a problem: the thug he's after is now missing his head, and Charlie will only be paid if the body can be identified. Enter Marcie Kramer, the victim's ex-wife and a woman with all the skills Charlie needs - so they partner up. Along the way, Charlie and Marcie fight to protect the legacy of Charlie's best friend and mentor, Stan Mullen (James Caan in his final performance), while bringing down Beggar and his entire crew. Citizen Tourist is a short film creation from the Porto, Portugal-based design house FAVO Studio and it's just delightful. Take a few moments to enjoy this and pass it on to others. The theme of over-abundant tourism is "explored in a whimsical fashion, turning the spotlight on a [global] industry that is shaping entire cities & cultures in profound ways... We try to encourage people to be able to find the joy of adventure right at their doorstep," they explain. It takes us on a quick journey through modern day tourism, including its many bad sides. "Things have gotten a little twisted in the Multiverse…" Marvel has revealed the official trailer for Season 2 of the fun spin-off series What If...?, where they present short stories based on crazy "what if" scenarios in the MCU. The first season launched in 2021 to mixed reviews, and this second season will be out to watch in December. One new episode will introduce an original MCU character named Kahhori, a young Mohawk woman who seeks to discover her powers after the Tesseract crash-lands in the Haudenosaunee Confederacy in pre-colonial America. In another episode, Peggy Carter / Captain Carter believes that the love of her life, Steve Rogers, is long-dead until he is discovered alive as the villainous Hydra Stomper. That sounds wild! The voice cast set for Season 2 includes Hayley Atwell, Lake Bell, Josh Keaton, and Jeffrey Wright back as The Watcher, the main character in this taking viewers into the various stories. "Extra meatballs for you, my friend." Give him all the meatballs! Lionsgate has revealed an official trailer for a dog movie called Arthur the King, set for release in March 2024. They slid in to take this release spot after the reshuffling of movie release dates following the end of the SAG-AFTRA strike. Based on a true story, and adapted from Mikael Lindnord's book "Arthur: The Dog who Crossed the Jungle to Find a Home", the film is about an elite adventure racer who adopts a stray dog that follows him during an epic endurance race. Wahlberg plays a Swedish guy named Mikael Lindnord, who's the captain of a Swedish adventure racing team, who befriends a wounded stray dog named Arthur, who accompanies the team on a grueling 400-mile endurance race through the Ecuadorian jungle. Also with Simu Liu, Juliet Rylance, Nathalie Emmanuel, Ali Suliman, with Bear Grylls as Himself, and Paul Guilfoyle. This actually looks quite good! Sony Pictures has revealed an official trailer for the movie Madame Web, Sony's next big Spider-Man multiverse spin-off movie made in conjunction with Marvel Studios. This one stars Dakota Johnson as a superhero named Madame Web. Set in New York City, Casssandra is a paramedic working for the FDNY until one accident changes everything – and she discovers that she has powers. Madame Web is a clairvoyant and precognitive mutant who first showed up to help Spider-Man find a kidnapping victim in the comics. The cast includes Tahar Rahim as Ezekiel Sims, Sydney Sweeney as Julia Carpenter, Celeste O'Connor as another Spider-Woman, and Isabela Merced as Anya Corazon / Araña, plus Mike Epps, Emma Roberts, and Adam Scott. This looks like an uneven mix of ideas thrown into one big mashup. So this dark Spidey is the bad guy? And the other Spider-Woman are with him? I guess we'll find out next year. This chicken mission is a go. 🐔 Netflix has revealed the full official trailer for animated sequel Chicken Run 2: Dawn of the Nugget, debuting on Netflix worldwide this December. This recently premiered at the 2023 London Film Festival to mostly positive reviews. Having pulled off an escape from Tweedy's farm, Ginger has found a peaceful island sanctuary for the whole flock. But back on the mainland the whole of chicken-kind faces a new threat, and Ginger and her team decide they must break in. From award-winning studio Aardman (Creature Comforts, Wallace & Gromit, Shaun the Sheep), and the Academy Award & BAFTA-nominated director Sam Fell (ParaNorman & Flushed Away, respectively). "I wasn't very good at having all this stuff locked inside of me..." MetFilm Distribution has revealed their trailer for Ronnie: The Edge of Everything, a documentary film about a sports legend named Ronnie O'Sullivan. Only some will recognize his name, as he is best known as a champion at the game of snooker (similar to billiards) and was famous in the 1990s. Facing the end of a wildly successful but turbulent career, snooker legend Ronnie O'Sullivan is finally keeping the game at arm's length. However over the course of a season leading up to a career-defining tournament, and triggered by memories of the past, he finds himself spiralling back into the sport's intense grip. Produced by David Beckham's Studio 99 and directed by Sam Blair, this is a film that pushes at the limits of sporting biographies, a layered and sophisticated story of a man grappling with his talent and his demons.
