Trailer for LGBTQ Film ‘All Shall Be Well’ About a Hong Kong Family

"If Pat was still here, she would have agreed with me." Strand Releasing has unveiled an official trailer for an indie film titled All Shall Be Well set in Hong Kong, made by the filmmaker Ray Yeung. This sapphic drama originally premiered at the 2024 Berlin Film Festival earlier this year, and it also played at the Hong Kong, Seattle, and Sydney Film Festivals. Angie & Pat (starring Patra Au & Lin-Lin Li, respectively) are a lesbian couple living in Hong Kong who have been together for over 4 decades. After Pat's unexpected death, Angie finds herself at the mercy of her extended family as she struggles to retain both her dignity as well as the home that they shared for over thirty years. Also starring Tai-Bo, So-Ying Hui, Chung-Hang Leung, Fish Liew, & Rachel Leung. HBO Trailer for ‘Quad Gods’ Doc About a Quadriplegic Esports Team

"I lost one identity, and the 'real me' came out." HBO has unveiled an official trailer for a documentary film titled Quad Gods, the feature directorial debut of filmmaker Jess Jacklin. This recently premiered at the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival in NYC last month, and it will be be streaming on Max later in July for everyone to watch. Quad Gods follows the lives of a group of New Yorkers with quadriplegia who meet in a neuro-rehabilitation lab at Mount Sinai Hospital and create the world's first all-quadriplegic Esports team. Warner Bros Sets Denis Villeneuve’s Next Movie to Open in Late 2026

A bit of exciting release date news from Hollywood this evening. Warner Bros has set a new release date for the next Denis Villeneuve movie. It will be opening in theaters nationwide on December 18th, 2026 - also in IMAX. The only catch so far is they didn't reveal a title or what the movie is, or any details beyond that it is Villeneuve's next. One rumor is could actually be Dune 3 - also known as Dune: Messiah, which is apparently being prepared & pushed ahead. The other possibility is an already-in-the-works adaptation of the book Nuclear War: A Scenario, a chilling look at what might actually happen if a nuke went off. Though of course there's a possibility it might end up being something else entirely different. Villeneuve was already quoted during the Dune 2 press tour saying that he wanted to make something else other than (another) Dune next, but we'll have to wait and find out exactly what it is in the works.
