Well they saved the best trailer for last! 20th Century has debuted an excellent third & final trailer for Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, continuing from the Rise of the Planet of the Apes trilogy featuring Caesar. Opening in theaters in early May in just a few weeks. Directed by Wes Ball, this takes place years after the events of War for the Planet of the Apes. Many ape clans have emerged in the oasis to which Caesar led his fellow apes, while humans have regressed into a feral state. One ape leader prevents the teachings of Caesar in order to enslave other clans while in search of the last traces of a secret human technology. While another ape embarks on a much different journey. I can feel it." 4Digital Media has revealed an official US trailer for a dark, brutal crime thriller title The Execution, loosely based on a true story about a Russian serial killer that was very hard to catch. After first opening in theaters in 2022, this film is headed to VOD in the US this May. For 10 years the country's most wanted serial killer has evaded police. Even when he's finally caught, nobody can prove his guilt. As the manhunt intensifies, the investigation grows increasingly personal between detective and suspect. After its world premiere at both Fantastic Fest and the Sitges Film Festival back in 2021, and a theatrical release in Russia, 4Digital will debut this on VOD soon. The film stars Niko Tavadze, Evgeniy Tkachuk, Daniil Spivakovskiy, and Aglaya Tarasova. Described in reviews as "a brutal & gripping psychological thriller." "I refuse to walk away from the fight." Netflix has revealed a teaser for the series Senna, a dramatized version of the story of famed Formula 1 race car driver Ayrton Senna. This is a biopic about the Brazilian racer and his legacy, including all of his victories and everything he achieved on and off the track. In this first teaser video for Senna, the limited series premiering in late 2024, we see the recreation of Formula 1 driver Ayrton Senna's historic victory, including the narration of Galvão Bueno, at the 1991 Brazilian Grand Prix at Interlagos, following a challenging race where he was mostly stuck in sixth gear and also marking the first time he won in his hometown of Sao Paulo. "Houston, we have a problem." This is easily one of my all-time favorite space movies. Ron Howard's docu-drama thriller Apollo 13 first opened in theaters in the summer of 1995, celebrating its 29th anniversary this year. The old 35mm trailer scanner YouTube recently posted a crisp 2160p scan of the original Apollo 13 trailer. Though this actually plays more like a teaser, setting up the story and stakes and characters without showing too much (the full trailer is also available right below it). The kaiju must battle! SRS Cinema has revealed a short official trailer for War of the Ninja Monsters: Jaron vs Goura, a homemade kaiju movie from Japanese filmmaker Shinpei Hayashiya. It's set for a Blu-ray release this summer from SRS Cinema - available to pre-order already on their site now. An ambitious film crew follows the lives of two leopard cubs as they make the fascinating journey from infancy into adulthood in this up-close-and-personal nature documentary. This is the latest film from Bulgarian director Konstantin Bojanov, leaving his homeland to tell a very different story set in India. It's premiering in the Un Certain Regard section at Cannes 2024.
