Guerlain Glittery Tiger Ombres G Quad Eyeshadow Palette ($85.00 for 0.2 oz.) is a new, limited edition holiday palette that included three more shimmery shades paired with a deeper, semi-matte finish shade. I felt like two of the three shimmers were not quite as impressive as most of the recent Guerlain quads have been, though they were still good! The quality was more mid-range for me; a little powdery and drier in texture, though certainly better when applied with a dampened brush or over a tacky base. Tom Ford Beauty Lumiere D'hiver Eye Color Quad ($90.00 for 0.35 oz.) is a new, limited edition offering for the holiday season that featured two matte eyeshadows and two shimmery eyeshadows. I did not feel that any of the eyeshadows performed that well; for the price point, obviously a massive miss! Lumiere d'Hiver #1 is a very pale beige with neutral-to-warm undertones that almost went cool-toned against my particular complexion. Chanel Duo Lumiere Illuminating Powder Duo ($70.00 for 0.26 oz.) includes a peachy champagne and a lighter, champagne gold that combine to create a soft, golden peach with flecks of gold sparkle throughout. It had more of a translucent base, so it will definitely take on the depth and tone of one's natural coloring more than some highlighters. It did have a more "glittery" finish, which I know some love and others steer clear of. It's been two months or so since I did a big organization/clean-out. It was shortly after formally announcing I was going to step back and work a little less on the blog, and it encouraged me to really start to tackle my archives!

ColourPop Cloud 9 Palette is a new, smoky/gray color story in a 12-pan format. The quality was as expected for ColourPop, though I'd say the shimmers felt a bit firmer and were more emollient while being on the thinner side, which is not my favorite texture from the brand as I find it doesn't work as well with brushes.
