Continuing a tradition started several years ago by the previous host of the LAMBcast, the choices for the Movie of the Month Poll for February all come from Richard, the Host of the LAMBcast, who celebrates his birthday in February. This year. The host has offered up seven films for you to vote on, that are all Blindspots for him. There is a sixty year span of films to choose from. Was Richard lazy, afraid. or just disdainful of this set of movies? The only way to find out is to vote and then listen to the show starting February 19.

Double Duty this week on the Lambcast, as two new releases get our attention, and they could not be directed at more completely different audiences. One film features music and dancing by high school kids, working out their adolescent issues, and the other is filled with violence and mayhem because old people were being taken advantage of. Tina Fey and Jason Statham might never work together in a film, but this weeks episode goes down better than “Barbienheimer”.

The start of the new year reminds us to finish off the previous year, and that is exactly what this episode of the Lambcast is designed to do. The Traditional Top ten Lists are the subject of this week’s show and we have a combination of guests who joined the live show, and some who sent in their lists to be added to the conversation. Frankly, it is an epic nearly three hours, so make sure you are comfortably seated to take in the show, or that you have a long run or drive ahead of you if you listen on the go.

We can’t really keep up with every movie that gets released, but that is especially true in December when big budget holiday releases and specialty Oscar bait, compete for our attention. Tony Cogan and Jay Cluitt both claimed to be the films biggest fan, but it was Tony who pushed the sequel here, over the finish line, to be the new film that we covered this month on the Lambcast. That’s right my friends, nothing says “Merry Christmas” like a zombie apocalypse. Of course when you add singing and dancing, it really does feel like a Christmas movie, at least that’s what Howard Casner would argue. As the champion of the film, Howard leads the discussion but frankly, the other guests probably played a part in the movie being selected as well.
