Final Teaser for Ghibli’s ‘The Boy and the Heron’ – In Theaters Dec. 8

"This world that we're in... it will only last one more day." GKids has revealed one final US "teaser" trailer for The Boy and the Heron, the latest film from the iconic filmmaker Hayao Miyazaki. This is his 12th feature film, and his latest since The Wind Rises in 2013. It opens in US theaters nationwide next Friday - on Dec. 8th - with both dubbed & subtitled showings (tickets here). "A young boy named Mahito yearning for his mother ventures into a world shared by the living and the dead. There, death comes to an end, and life finds a new beginning. A semi-autobiographical fantasy about life, death, and creation, [and] in tribute to friendship, from the mind of Hayao Miyazaki." With an original score by Joe Hisaishi. Described as a "big fantastical film", it follows a boy who discovers an abandoned tower in his new town and enters a magical, mystical world guided by a strange talking grey heron. Full Trailer for ‘Ted’ Series with Max Burkholder and the Filthy Teddy

"It's the 90s, times are changing!" Peacock has revealed the main official trailer for their streaming series bringing back the lovable foul-mouthed teddy bear Ted. Created by, co-written, co-showrun, and directed by Seth MacFarlane, who made the original two movies, this Ted is a prequel set in 1993 before the events of the two movies. Everyone in 2012 probably remembers the huge buzz around the original Ted movie, which ended up making $549M worldwide at the box office that year. Now 11 years later they're bringing him back. "[While] it takes place in the 90s but is based on the timeless truth that being sixteen sucks. The three of us were teenagers in the nineties and grew up in and around Boston, where the show takes place. So many of these stories are personal for us," MacFarlane, Corrigan & Walsh said.
