Kier Gilchrist & Lucy Hale in RomCom Film ‘Running on Empty’ Trailer

"So what kinda gal are you lookin' for?" Lionsgate has revealed the official trailer for an awkward romantic comedy movie called Running on Empty, being released this summer starting in August (eventually on VOD later in August). Marking the feature directorial debut of filmmaker Daniel André, this was originally titled Mort in Sherman Oaks before the new title change, since it's set in the San Fernando Valley. The film follows an odd young man named Mort who discovers he has less than a year to live. After hearing the news, his fiancé leaves him, then he meets Kate using a dating service that matches people by their death dates, all while being stalked by a disturbed pimp. The film stars Keir Gilchrist, Lucy Hale, Francesca Eastwood, Rhys Coiro, Jay Pharoah, Lisa Yaro, Monica Potter, Dylan Flashner, Dustin Milligan, and Jim Gaffigan. This romcom seems pretty odd but also mildly amusing. Here's the official trailer (+ ...

Apparently Scarlett Johannsson is responsible for TANG! being the official breakfast drink of the astronauts and Omega being the watches worn on the moon.

The conceit of the film is that a fast talking manipulator from Manhattan…

More recently, Black joined a swanky Hollywood fundraiser for President Joe Biden. Over the weekend, Black crossed a bright, red political line. At least, that’s what he’s telling us now. Black’s two-man group Tenacious …

It's set for release in August this summer. A pastor takes a gay teen to a cabin for conversion therapy. When he goes way too far, bullying the kid into suicide, the ghost of his victim returns to plague the pastor and avenge the deaths of so many other ghosts like him. It's part of a new horror trilogy called Fresh Hell - "shooting films on a small budget back-to-back, each film with its own unique aesthetic and cleverly interconnected elements between them. Each film is shot with great creativity and killer practical effects by industry legend Dave Greathouse (The Killing of a Sacred Deer, Wrong Turn, Fun Size)." Saint Patrick stars Steve Pinder, Michael J. Cline, Maya Jeyam, Caitlin McWethy, Alan Tyson, Andrew James Myers, Louie Kurtzman, Erik Donley, Beau Roberts.
