Intriguing Trailer for ‘Room 0’ – A Micro Budget Time Loop Sci-Fi Film
"It's just a weird box." Gravitas Ventures has revealed a final trailer for Room 0, a microbudget indie sci-fi film from Hungarian filmmaker Richard Kodai. Another intriguing small-scale time loop concept, seemingly shot entirely in one hotel room. After learning that her sister has a rare disease, a young woman makes the desperate decision to get the money by any means necessary. She helps steal a mysterious device, but after accidentally activating it, she gets stuck in a repeating time loop that keeps her trapped in a motel room. After a while she also has to realize that the biggest crime lord in the area is after her, since she stole the device from him. She has to find a way out of the time loop and away from him. Room 0 stars Natalya V. Wood, Sean Collins, Victor Jones, and Kenny Logsdon. Featuring music by The Ugly Facade. Well, I'm curious to see how the script plays with this concept and what it does with the loop. Check it out below.

Official Trailer for William Shatner’s Biopic Doc – ‘You Can Call Me Bill’
"As we get older we asks ourselves: do we really know each other? Do we really know ourselves?" Legion M has revealed an official trailer for the documentary film titled You Can Call Me Bill, a biopic fan-fueled look back at the illustrious life of actor William Shatner. "Legion M is uniting fans to celebrate William Shatner's 93rd birthday with a nationwide theatrical release of the documentary about his life." The film is directed by acclaimed doc filmmaker Alexandre O. Philippe (of 78/52, Memory: The Origins of Alien) and it first premiered at the 2023 SXSW Film Festival, with many stops on its festival tour throughout last year. The doc is an intimate portrait of William Shatner's personal journey over nine decades on this Earth, You Can Call Me Bill strips away all the masks he has worn to embody countless characters, and reveals the man behind it all. Shatner is best known as the original Captain James T. Kirk from Star Trek, with many other roles throughout his acting career. "Everything's risky, but there's something beautiful about that." Enjoy.

Fun RomCom ‘French Girl’ Trailer with Zach Braff & Vanessa Hudgens
"Pop the question before she switches teams again!" Paramount Movies has revealed an official trailer for a romantic comedy called French Girl, a Canadian feature about a distinctly Canadian problem - what if you move up to a new city and almost everyone there speaks French, and you don't. Adorable. Or as they say in French, adorablé. Gordon, a hopeless romantic, finds his proposal plans are thrown into chaos when his girlfriend is swept away to Quebec City by a job offer from her ex, a sophisticated celebrity chef. Determined to keep their love alive, Gordon leaves Brooklyn for her hometown, only to find himself hilariously out of his depth in attempting to charm her hard-to-impress, French-speaking family. Zach Braff stars with Evelyne Brochu as his girlfriend Sophie, plus Luc Picard, Antoine Olivier Pilon, Isabelle Vincent, Charlotte Aubin, Muriel Dutil, with William Fichtner and Vanessa Hudgens. This looks mildly amusing but definitely something to watch streaming not in theaters. The saucy ex-girlfriend twist is an interesting one.

Ryan Phillippe & Emile Hirsch vs Big Animals in ‘Prey’ Official Trailer
"People are dying! We need a plan!" Survive - that's the plan! That's all there is! Vertical has revealed an official trailer for an action thriller movie called Prey, the latest from South African filmmaker Mukunda Michael Dewil. Back in 2022, he collaborated with the same two actors on other projects - Ryan Phillippe in Collide and Emile Hirsch in The Immaculate Room. This time they take on wild animals while fleeing in Africa. After their lives are threatened by an extremist militant group, a young couple must flee from their missionary post in the Kalahari Desert. But when their aircraft crashes into an animal preserve, they must battle man and beast in a fight for their lives. Taking on lions, leopards, and hyenas and more. Prey stars Ryan Phillippe, Emile Hirsch, Mena Suvari, Dylan Flashner, Jeremy Tardy, Michaela Sasner, Tristan Thompson, and Mohamed Hakeemshady as Scar.. This reminds me of the other maneater lion movie Beast with Idris Elba. It looks like it has some gnarly escape scenes, should be another intense watch.
