Quick Trailer for Scott Adkins’ Airport Action Sequel ‘One More Shot’

"You can't stop this. It's too big." Sony Pictures has revealed an official trailer for an action thriller sequel titled One More Shot, which will be out direct-to-video (and on VOD) in a few weeks. This action-packed high-octane thriller continues right where One Shot left off - it's a sequel to that one-long-take movie, using that same real time action gimmick all over again. Following the attack on the black site in Poland, Navy SEAL Jake Harris is ordered to escort terrorist suspect Amin Mansur to Washington D.C for interrogation. As they're chased through the airport terminal by ruthless terrorists, Harris will have to use all his battle-honed skills to survive. Scott Adkins returns to star as Harris; he's joined by Michael Jai White, Tom Berenger, Meena Rayann, and Alexis Knapp. This trailer doesn't confirm if it actually is one-long-take again, but the countdown time seems to indicate they're aiming for the "real time" editing trick again. The rest of it looks so cheesy and generic, the same boring action you've seen in 100 other movies before already. Here's the official ...

The film is a barbaric fantasy sci-fi trip that boldly celebrates the influences of Fellini Satyricon, The Night Porter, The Hunger, and Fassbinder’s entire oeuvre to craft a moving portrait of a warrior trying to find her place while existing outside of space, time, and meaning. Another New US Trailer for ‘The Peasants’ Hand-Painted Polish Film

"God did not create you to be poor!" Sony Classics has revealed an official US trailer for the hand-painted film The Peasants, an animated story of jealous men and angry villagers. They have been working on this for years, painting every single frame by hand to get it looking perfect. The film tells a heartbreaking story about an early 20th Polish peasant woman who creates havoc when she is forced to marry an older rich man. The epic classic novel of Wladyslaw Reymont has been brought to life using the popular realist and pre-impressionist paintings from the 19th Century, with an emphasis on the Young Poland Movement and the works of such artists as Józef Chełmoński, Ferdynand Ruszczyc and Julian Fałat. It's a follow-up to the first hand-painted film Loving Vincent, which was about Vincent Van Gogh. Every last shot is painted by artists, resulting in thousands of paintings at the end of production. The Peasants stars Kamila Urzedowska as Jagna, with Robert Gulaczyk & Mirosław Baka. It first premiered at the Toronto Film Festival last fall, and I recently ...
