He&#8217;s now <a href=\"https:\/\/wegotthiscovered.com\/celebrities\/does-king-charles-really-believe-hell-cure-his-cancer-by-blasting-coffee-up-his-bum\/\"  rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">undergoing treatment<\/a>, though right now <a href=\"https:\/\/wegotthiscovered.com\/news\/do-we-know-what-kind-of-cancer-king-charles-iii-has-been-diagnosed-with\/\">we don&#8217;t know what kind of cancer<\/a> he has and nobody is entirely sure of his condition.<\/p>\n<p>Buckingham Palace is, perhaps understandably, playing their cards close to their chest on the King&#8217;s health. So far it&#8217;s been confirmed that his cancer isn&#8217;t of the prostate and that, coupled with the fact that <a href=\"https:\/\/wegotthiscovered.com\/celebrities\/camilla-jets-out-of-the-u-k-and-clues-us-in-on-the-truth-of-charles-cancer-battle\/\"  rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Queen Camilla is happy to jet off for a solo tropical holiday<\/a> indicates he&#8217;s not in imminent danger of kicking the bucket.<\/p>\n<p>But a bizarre new story presupposes something shocking: what if Charles doesn&#8217;t have cancer at all?<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h-the-interview\">The interview<\/h2>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">HAS KING CHARLES GOT CANCER OR NOT?<\/p>\n<p>Strange exchange between Carole &amp; Jeremy Vine today. <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/14.0.0\/72x72\/1f447.png\" alt=\"\ud83d\udc47\" class=\"wp-smiley\" style=\"height: 1em; max-height: 1em;\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Carole Malone: <br \/>\u201cHe hasn\u2019t got cancer\u2026.I can\u2019t say what it is but I know.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Since the Royal Family\/The Monarchy has a history of lying &amp; cover ups it\u2019s not unfair to question what they\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/0Q7tj8Lad8\">pic.twitter.com\/0Q7tj8Lad8<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Glow Lee (@GlowanneLee) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GlowanneLee\/status\/1765338535077298383?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 6, 2024<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>In an appearance on U.K. chatshow <em>The Jeremy Vine Show<\/em> his guest Carole Malone very confidently said that Charles &#8220;doesn&#8217;t have cancer&#8221;. When pressed on this comment Malone added &#8220;I can&#8217;t say what it is, but I know&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>As you would expect Malone&#8217;s comment has been widely reshared and thrown on the teetering pile of conspiracy theories about the Royal family. Comments from the public run the gamut from <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/DeeDeeEHughes\/status\/1765661229291372594?s=20\"  rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">dismissive<\/a> to furious:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>&#8220;I find it hard to believe that even the royal family would lie about something as serious as Charles having cancer.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>A few <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/paulinebelcher\/status\/1765676363359334602?s=20\"  rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">give it some credence<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>If this is true that King Charles doesn\u2019t have cancer, they are disgusting people. Cancer devastates so many families across the world, mine included. I will never ever forgive them for this lie.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>And <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Tush27J\/status\/1765629907214737537?s=20\"  rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">questioning the sanity of Malone<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>&#8220;Carole Malone should be fired full stop. She&#8217;s a barking mad banshee.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>So, what&#8217;s going on here? At first glance, it would seem ridiculous that Charles is actively faking cancer, as the backlash if the entire story was shown to be a lie would be so immense he&#8217;d have to abdicate. But there may be a few vaguely plausible ways Malone is sort of right. Perhaps Charles&#8217; medical team jumped the gun on making the confirmation that he has cancer due to a misdiagnosis, though we&#8217;d expect them to correct that misinformation as soon as possible. <\/p>\n<p>If you wanted to be extremely uncharitable you could argue he&#8217;s &#8220;pulling a sickie&#8221; to get off work, which to be fair would neatly explain why Camilla is perfectly happy to spend a week alone sunbathing and sipping cocktails. Carole Malone is a British TV presenter and journalist with a long string of credits. She&#8217;s appeared on <em>Loose Women<\/em>,  was a contestant on <em>Celebrity Big Brother<\/em> in 2007, and has reviewed newspapers for daytime show <em>This Morning.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Malone has also attracted her fair share of controversies. In 2009 she wrote a column in now defunct British tabloid <em>The News of the World<\/em> claiming that illegal immigrants are being given free cars by the government. This was not true (duh) and the newspaper had to print a retraction and apologize. She was similarly rebuked for comments about a house fire in 2012 that claimed the lives of six children, criticizing their parents for receiving welfare and saying it was &#8220;an accident waiting to happen&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>I guess there&#8217;s a chance Malone may have the inside scoop on what&#8217;s going on behind the walls of Buckingham Palace. Maybe the knowledge that Charles&#8217; cancer doesn&#8217;t exist (or is wildly exaggerated) is common amongst the British press but nobody is reporting on it yet? After a three-decade career in journalism, Malone should have some contacts to find out what&#8217;s really going on.<\/p>\n<p>Alternatively, we have a journalist and TV presenter with a history of running her mouth about stuff she knows absolutely nothing about and being reprimanded for saying objectively wrong things. We suspect her claims about Charles&#8217; cancer fall into this category. Perhaps we&#8217;ll soon get clarification that she misheard the question or misspoke?<\/p>\n<p>As always the relative secrecy from Buckingham Palace means conspiracy theories flourish in an information vacuum.
