In anticipation of the inaugural IWBF Men\u2019s and Women\u2019s Repechage Tournaments<\/strong>, a team of 48 officials has been nominated to oversee the final qualification stage for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.<\/a><\/p>\n

2024 IWBF Men’s Repechage<\/a> in Antibes, France: 12 \u2013 15 April<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Hosted by F\u00e9d\u00e9ration Fran\u00e7aise Handisport, the Men’s Repechage competition will be overseen by a Tournament Technical Committee led by Technical Director Craig Moorgas (RSA)<\/strong>, supported by Assistant Technical Director David Kingstone (GBR)<\/strong> and IWBF Technical Chair Cristian Roja (ITA)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The team of 12 referees chosen to officiate the games includes Matias Quintana (ARG)<\/strong>, Tomas Pajer (CZE)<\/strong>, Juan Hernandez (MEX)<\/strong>, Natascha Onono (RSA)<\/strong>, Drazen Strok (CRO)<\/strong>, Hector Carmona (ESP)<\/strong>, Zijian Geng (CHN)<\/strong>, Yaniv Hadad (ISR)<\/strong>, Gustavo Mathias (BRA)<\/strong>, Hiroki Ono (JPN)<\/strong>, Patricia Diaz (ESP)<\/strong>, and Shu-Fei Hsieh (TPE).<\/strong> Referee Supervisors Tonia Gomez (ESP)<\/strong> and Damir Kunosic (BIH)<\/strong> will ensure the standards are maintained.<\/p>\n

Heading the Classification team is IWBF Classification Chair Regina Costa (POR)<\/strong>, accompanied by Classifiers Leandre Swanepoel (RSA)<\/strong>, Jayne Chilutti (USA)<\/strong>, Gabriela Deda Erbenova (CZE)<\/strong>, and Jin Yan Tan (MAS)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Game Commissioners will be Juan Magallanes (MEX) and Jovana Krivokuca-Milovanovic (SRB).<\/p>\n

2024 IWBF Women’s Repechage<\/a> in Osaka, Japan: 17 \u2013 20 April<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The Women’s Repechage in Osaka, Japan, hosted by the Japanese Wheelchair Basketball Federation, Tournament Technical Committee will be led by Technical Director and IWBF Competitions Chair Charlie Bethel (GBR)<\/strong>, assisted by Don Perriman (AUS)<\/strong> and Sergio Giordano (CAN)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The 12 selected referees for the Women’s Repechage are Poh Boon Yap (MAS)<\/strong>, Milutin Jelenic (SRB)<\/strong>, Pedro Vasquez (CHI)<\/strong>, Veronica Restuccia (UAE)<\/strong>, Fengqin Wang (CHN)<\/strong>, Hrvoje Pencinger (CRO)<\/strong>, Marco Graziani (ITA)<\/strong>, Chih-Hsin Hsiao (TPE)<\/strong>, Yekta Sansal Koc (TUR)<\/strong>, Jae-geun Lee (KOR)<\/strong>, Adam Fronczak (POL)<\/strong>, and Arnold Moseya (RSA)<\/strong>. Referee Supervisors Eisuke Kanno (JPN)<\/strong> and Guglielmo Bianchi (ITA)<\/strong> will provide the overview of the officiating.<\/p>\n

Bartosz Molik (POL)<\/strong> will serve as Chief Classifier, with a Classification team composed of Sonja Mohnen (GER)<\/strong>, Jenny Brandford (AUS)<\/strong>, Raul Cembrano (PHI)<\/strong>, and Susan Ercolin (ITA)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
