Clay&#8217;s red flags could line the Pan-American Highway, <a href=\"https:\/\/wegotthiscovered.com\/celebrities\/how-old-is-jeramey-from-love-is-blind-season-6\/\"  rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Jeramey&#8217;s already lying<\/a> to Laura, and Kenneth seemingly has no interest in actually spending time with his short-lived fianc\u00e9e, but <a href=\"https:\/\/wegotthiscovered.com\/celebrities\/jimmy-sees-jessica-on-love-is-blind-explained\/\"  rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">all of those misdeeds<\/a> pale in comparison to new rumors cropping up about Trevor.<\/p>\n<p>Yeah, you read that right. Teddy bear Trevor, the sweet, mulleted muscle man who matched with Chelsea and barely missed out on popping the question. The guy we all thought was better for her than Jimmy, and with whom we desperately hoped she&#8217;d eventually reconnect. He emerged as one of viewers&#8217; favorite participants, and a number of <em>Love is Blind<\/em> fans were devastated when Chelsea chose to accept Jimmy&#8217;s proposal instead of waiting for Trevor. <\/p>\n<p>Trevor left the show after Chelsea broke up with him, but it seems he may not have been going home to an empty house. In the wake of the show&#8217;s second drop of episodes, text messages allegedly shared between Trevor and his ex-girlfriend arose, and painted a very different picture than what Trevor initially laid down. It seems, based on the text messages, that Trevor was already in a relationship before he entered the experiment. The text messages indicate that his girlfriend at the time was in full support of his participation on the show, and may have even worked with Trevor to plan out the best storyline to get him airtime. <\/p>\n<p>They&#8217;ve since broken up \u2014 reportedly just two weeks ahead of the season&#8217;s big debut \u2014 but quite a few people are convinced that Trevor&#8217;s heart was already taken while he was on the show. The dates align with the show&#8217;s filming schedule, for one, with initial texts about Trevor heading to the pods falling on March 26, the day filming began. Other dates also make sense, <a href=\"https:\/\/wegotthiscovered.com\/tv\/love-is-blind-how-long-are-they-in-the-pods\/\"  rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">based on Trevor&#8217;s tenure in the pods<\/a>, with his following text going out on April 5, which is likely the day he and Chelsea broke up.<\/p>\n<p>Other minor details align with what Trevor has revealed in the wake of the show as well, like that his dog \u2014 also named Chelsea \u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/C3c9_V4smf0\/?hl=en\"  rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">passed away the same day he left the show<\/a>. After enduring a public breakdown of the texts that spread online during the season, Trevor was given the chance to explain himself. He botched the process pretty spectacularly, but in the process seemingly confirmed that all the rumors were true. <\/p>\n<p>Visibly uncomfortable, Trevor admitted that he had an entire speech planned, but it clearly vanished from his mind the moment his deeds were laid out in front of him. Trying to wriggle his way out of blame by noting that he never officially asked his ex to be his girlfriend \u2014\u00a0and convincing exactly no one \u2014 Trevor then pivoted to explain that he was simply looking to switch things up. His ex is apparently his typical type, and he wanted to see if he could find something more unique. <\/p>\n<p>At least Trevor admitted that he is toxic during his fumbling response, but he didn&#8217;t win back many fans during his brief time on the reunion.
