Kia (-1.5%) stays atop the brands ranking wit 8.9% share, however this is not enough to topple Volkswagen (+7.1%) in the year-to-date order. The next four models all beat the market: Toyota (+45.7%) is up to 8.5% share v. 6.8% YTD, Tesla (+189.8%) is up to 6.3% vs. 4.8%, BMW (+39.3%) up to 5.9% vs. 5.3% and Skoda (+28.1%) is up to 5.6% of the market vs. 5.3% YTD. Further down, notice Jeep (+816.7%), MG (+316.9%), Land Rover (+107.7%) and Fiat (+61.2%) all posting fantastic gains.<\/p>\n<p>Model-wise, the Tesla Model Y (+220.4%) triples its sales year-on-year to remain ultra dominant with 6% share, more than double any other nameplate in the market. The VW Polo (+50.3%) climbs 7 spots on August to land at #2 ahead of the Kia Niro (+7.7%). The Kia Picanto (+12.8%) is down two ranks to #4 followed by a sinking Peugeot 208 (-21.7%). The Toyota Corolla (+103.2%), Toyota Yaris Cross (+91.7%), Peugeot 2008 (+64.8%) and Volvo XC40 (+26.3%) also outpace the market in the remainder of the Top 10.<\/p>\n<p>Previous month: <a
