San Antonio Spurs<\/a> rookie Victor Wembanyama has taken the NBA by storm. He provides nightly highlights with his performances, as he is accomplishing things normally only seen playing the NBA 2K video game.<\/p>\n On Wednesday, he had another epic duel with two-time MVP Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets<\/a>. Clips of their matchup have gone viral, as they were going at each other all evening to the excitement of basketball fans everywhere.<\/p>\n Ultimately, it was Jokic and the Nuggets who came out ahead, winning 110-105 in a game that was more competitive than many people likely thought it would be. Jokic finished the game with 42 points, 16 rebounds, six assists, one steal and two blocks.<\/p>\n He had several highlight-worthy plays while going against Wembanyama, but the rookie made sure to get some himself. It was a very impressive performance, albeit an inefficient shooting one, for Wembanyama against one of the best players in the NBA.<\/p>\n But, not everyone was left impressed by the performance. During a segment on ESPN’s First Take<\/a>, Chris Russo ripped into Wembanyama. Russo believes that Wembanyama is vastly overrated based on how people talk about him and his production on the court.<\/p>\n
