The media, as if on cue, fawns over his or her every syllable.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s where Ritchson stands today.<\/p>\n<p>Not only does he headline Amazon Prime&#8217;s &#8220;Reacher,&#8221; he also has a buzzy new action film heading our way soon &#8211; &#8220;The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare&#8221; (April 19).&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodintoto.com\/alan-ritchsons-tough-guy-trump-church\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodintoto.com\/wp-content\/plugins\/wp-youtube-lyte\/lyteCache.php?origThumbUrl=https%3A%2F%2Fi.ytimg.com%2Fvi%2FzvwDen1Wrx8%2Fhqdefault.jpg\" alt=\"YouTube Video\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Ritchson, who most recently starred in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodintoto.com\/heartbreaking-ordinary-angels-upends-faith-based-rulebook\/\">&#8220;Ordinary Angels,&#8221;<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/movies\/movie-features\/alan-ritchson-interview-reacher-faith-stardom-mental-health-1235864260\/\"  rel=\"noopener\"> opened up to The Hollywood Reporter<\/a> about, well, everything.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Trump.<\/li>\n<li>Christianity.<\/li>\n<li>Fame.<\/li>\n<li>Sexual Abuse.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Now, Ritchson is acknowledging the negative feedback from his comments. And he&#8217;s not in the mood to apologize.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Hey everyone, just wanted to touch base on something that&#8217;s been on my mind. I shared my personal opinion about someone, and it seems like it caused quite a stir. Stars shouldn&#8217;t apologize for their opinions. Except it&#8217;s hardly bold or brave for Ritchson to dig his heels in at the cusp of superstardom.<\/p>\n<p>Why?<\/p>\n<p>He&#8217;s doing and saying exactly what Hollywood expects him to say.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodintoto.com\/ordinary-angels-conservative-media-ordinary-angels-interviews\/\"><strong>RELATED: WHY HOLLYWOOD WON&#8217;T LET STARS CHAT WITH CONSERVATIVE MEDIA&nbsp;<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s start with Donald Trump. The de facto mode in La La Land is to curse out the former President, or worse.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s<a href=\"https:\/\/boundingintocomics.com\/2024\/04\/11\/reacher-star-alan-ritchson-baffled-at-religious-support-of-donald-trump-hes-a-rapist-and-a-con-man-and-yet-the-entire-christian-church-seems-to-treat-him-like-hes-their-poster-child\/\"  rel=\"noopener\"> more or less what Ritchson did.<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\u201cTrump is a rapist and a con man, and yet the entire Christian church seems to treat him like he\u2019s their poster child and it\u2019s unreal &#8230; I don\u2019t understand it.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He also teed off on Christians, who by and large have embraced both Trump and the actor for being open about his faith and starring in &#8220;Ordinary Angels,&#8221; a faith-kissed drama.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">&#8220;Christians today have become the most vitriolic tribe. It is so antithetical to what Jesus was calling us to be and to do.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Strong stuff. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.outkick.com\/culture\/alan-ritchson-national-fraternal-order-of-police-statement\"  rel=\"noopener\">And he wasn&#8217;t done.<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">&#8220;Cops get away with murder all the time, and the fact that we can\u2019t really hold them accountable for their improprieties is disturbing to me. We should completely reform the way that we do it. I mean, you shouldn\u2019t have to spend more time getting an education as a hairstylist than as a cop who\u2019s armed with a deadly weapon. We should make it very hard for people to make mistakes or abuse power in our institutions.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Does he believe all of the above? Possibly. Likely. Maybe.<\/p>\n<p>No matter. It&#8217;s all precisely cribbed from the Liberal Hollywood Playbook. Attack the GOP.
