Ketua Polis Daerah Serdang Asisten Komisioner A A Anbalagan mengesahkan pihaknya telah menahan seorang penganggur yang memandu sebuah kereta secara melulu sambil menggunakan siren dan lampu kecemasan (hazard light) dalam kejadian di Jalan Serdang Perdana, Seri Kembangan, pada 2 Oktober lalu.<\/p>\n

Beliau berkata, lelaki berusia 22 tahun itu ditahan ketika hadir menyerah diri di Ibu Pejabat Polis Daerah (IPD) Serdang kira-kira jam 4 petang kelmarin.<\/p>\n

“Semasa tampil menyerah diri, lelaki itu mengaku memandu kereta Proton Saga yang menggunakan siren<\/a> terbabit seperti ditularkan di media sosial, baru-baru ini. Hasil siasatan dilakukan mendapati suspek yang tinggal di Nilai, Negeri Sembilan meminjam kereta terbabit dari rakannya di Port Dickson kerana mendakwa ada hal kecemasan membabitkan keluarga,” katanya seperti dilaporkan Harian Metro<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Tambah beliau, keterangan semua pihak yang terbabit sudah diambil dan suspek dibebaskan dengan jaminan polis sementara menunggu arahan daripada Timbalan Pendakwa Raya untuk tindakan lanjut.
\nMalahan kereta terbabit juga sudah dirampas untuk siasatan lanjut mengikut Seksyen 42 (1) Akta Pengangkutan Jalan (APJ) 1987.<\/p>\n

Sebelum ini, Polis Serdang dilaporkan sedang mengesan pemandu kereta Proton Saga yang menggunakan siren dan dipandu secara berbahaya di lokasi berkenaan pada 2 Oktober lalu. Ia hasil rakaman video yang tular di media sosial yang menunjukkan aksi kereta berkenaan dipandu secara melulu. <\/p>\n
