This translates to a price difference of Rs. 1.64 lakhs for the petrol version and Rs. 1.10 lakhs for the diesel manual. Please note that all the prices mentioned are ex-showroom. The Z8 Select variant is positioned above the Z6 and below the Z8.<\/p>\n<p>Now, let\u2019s talk about what the Z8 variant offers over the Z8 Select. Starting with the front, both the trims are exactly the same with similar features including projector LED headlamps, LED DRLs with LED fog lamps, a grey skid plate and a black grille with multiple chrome elements.<\/p>\n<p>Coming to the side, both variants come with 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels with all four disc brakes. Both the variants look the same from the side but the Z8 variant offers some additional features such as electrically foldable ORVMs and chrome door handles with a request sensor for keyless entry. Similar to the side profile, the tailgate handle in the Z8 variant is finished in chrome and comes with a request sensor. On the other hand, the Z8 Select variant does not offer this feature.<\/p>\n<p>Now let\u2019s talk about the key differences in the interior. The Z8 variant offers push-button start functionality which the Z8 Select variant misses out on. The Z8 Select variant also offers premium soft-touch materials on the dashboard, door pads, leg pads and door armrest, similar to the Z8.<\/p>\n<p>The seat covers are also finished in leatherette. Other features which both variants include an 8-inch touch screen infotainment system, semi-digital instrument cluster, leather-wrapped flat-bottom steering wheel, steering mounted controls, single-pane sunroof and cruise control. Additionally, the Z8 variant offers auto headlamps, dual-zone auto AC, rain-sensing wipers and a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS).<\/p>\n<p>Both variants offer similar features in terms of safety including six airbags, all four disc brakes, hill-assist control, ABS with EBD and electronic stability control (ESC).<br \/>\nAll-in-all the only difference between both the variants is electrically foldable ORVMs, keyless entry with push-button start and other smaller features such as auto headlamps, dual-zone auto AC, rain-sensing wipers and tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).<\/p>\n<p><strong>When we talk about day-to-day running, one may not feel the necessity of these features which make the Z8 Select a more VFM option<\/strong>. Both variants are powered by the same engines with the same transmission options. The SUV is powered by a 2.2-litre diesel engine that produces 173 hp and 400 Nm of torque. It is also offered with a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine that churns out 203 hp and 380 Nm of torque.
