Marvel recently revealed that the official title of the Agatha WandaVision<\/em> spinoff series is Agatha All Along<\/em><\/strong><\/a>. I\u2019ve been hearing great things about how this series turned out, and now the cast continues to tease what fans can expect.<\/p>\n

Patti LuPone<\/strong> has confirmed the series will take us to the Witches’ Road, and also says the production value of the series is something you’d see on a “$100 million movie.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kathryn Hahn<\/strong><\/a>, Joe Locke<\/strong><\/a>, and LuPone recently appeared at the Walt Disney Company’s Upfront presentation to talk about the show. <\/p>\n

Hahn shared: “The thing about this show which I thought was so thrilling [is] that Jac Schaeffer,<\/strong> who wrote it and also wrote WandaVision…it was very important to her and Mary Livanos, our producer, that there be as minimal CGI. So there’s very little that is not practical magic or just our magic.\u201d<\/p>\n

“That was a very exciting something to set up that we were able to prove again and again we could do it,” the actress continued. “So, it’s minimal CGI, but that was very thrilling. [The] sets are incredible…it just felt delicious. It was a very immersive experience.”<\/p>\n

LuPone then jumped in to reveal that Agatha All Along<\/em> will include Witches’ Road, which confirms claims from several scoopers over the past year.<\/p>\n

LuPone said: “May I say to that point, the set, the production design and the set dressers, and the lighting, the costumes, everything about it, it appeared to all of us when we saw it when we came to set that everybody on the creative end were at the top of their game. I was telling somebody about the Witches’ Road.<\/p>\n

“How absolutely beautiful… we burst into tears when we got on the set and we saw the actual Witches’ Road. It’s gorgeous to look at on top of being a fantastic story. It looks like a $100 million movie.”<\/p>\n

In the comics, the Witches’ Road is a plane of existence where only sorcerers can tread. It\u2019s speculated that the story will involve Agatha and Billy going there in search of the Scarlet Witch following her disappearance (and apparent death) at the end of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.<\/p>\n

Agatha All Along<\/em> <\/strong>is described as a \u201cdark comedy\u201d in the MCU. When we last saw Agatha, she attempted to take Wanda Maximoff\u2019s magic for herself, and Wanda trapped her in the \u201cAgnes\u201d persona.<\/p>\n

The description for the first episode of the show reads, \u201cIn the first episode we see Agatha Harkness (Kathryn Hahn<\/strong>) finally break out of a spell she has been trapped in. <\/p>\n

\u201cShe can\u2019t wait to go back to her old murderous ways only to find that she is powerless. The only way forward for her is to embark on a perilous quest to get her powers back with the help of an unlikely friend or two.\u201d<\/p>\n

The series also stars Aubrey Plaza<\/strong><\/a> as Rio Vidal, and Sasheer Zamata<\/strong> is playing Jennifer Kale, while Ali Ahn<\/strong> is playing a character named Alice.<\/p>\n

Other returning cast members from WandaVision<\/em> include David Payton, David Lengel, Asif Ali, Amos Glick, Brian Brightman,<\/strong> and Kate Forbes<\/strong>. They join Deborah Jo Rupp<\/strong> and Emma Caufield<\/strong> <\/a>who are also returning cast members.<\/p>\n

Agatha All Along<\/em> premieres on Disney+ on September 18.<\/p>\n
