I had a really hard time falling asleep last night because I felt so excited to have today off. I feel like I haven’t had a moment to really spend time with my products and blog in the last week or so and I miss them! I miss the smell of my beauty products all together and so I am really happy today to have time to spend with my kitties, my husband (now napping from having to do a presentation online at 6am) and my lovely beauty things. <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

I missed out on #SheetMaskSunday this past weekend as I was feeling more motivated to do things around the house than blog quietly so I guess we will get #SheetMaskThursday edition! I always like when masks have fruit packaging because it inherently makes me think these will be fun, citrus party masks so keep reading to find out if that is indeed what they were!<\/div>\n

Aqua Energy<\/u><\/b><\/div>\n

What makes this mask special? This mask is filled with many “red fruits” like strawberry, tomato, watermelon, cherry and pomegranate extracts which actually show up very close to the top of the ingredients list! These red fruits are all very high in antioxidants which protect the skin from free radicals. There is also licorice extract as well as hyaluronic acid for brightening and hydration.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The mask itself is also made of 100% cellulose with super soft “cloud cell” fibers that cling to the contours of the face in all the right ways! The mask was also very soft.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Mask Fit: <\/b>Very nice! <\/span><\/p>\n

Tackiness: <\/b>Light<\/span><\/p>\n

Hydration: <\/b>Yes, it was hydrating and I did not feel the need for any moisturizer afterwards.<\/span><\/p>\n

Other notes: <\/b>I just really wanted this to smell like candy even though I know fragrance isn’t “good for the skin”.<\/span><\/p>\n

Brightening Energy<\/u><\/b><\/div>\n

What makes this mask special? You guessed it, this mask has many “orange fruits” like orange, grapefruit, papaya, apricot, tangerine and peach extract focused on brightening and rejuvenating dull-looking skin as well as evening out skin tone. These are also in the top half of the ingredients list with niacinamide being in the largest concentration and most likely the main source of brightening.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Final verdict<\/b>: These masks fit beautifully and were very comfortable to wear. For masks that I thought wouldn’t be all that hydrating, they were and leaned more on the tacky side than I usually prefer. I like that the ingredients were really solid, but sadly, like many of the masks I have been reviewing, these are discontinued, but they were fun to try even if they weren’t my favourite. <\/p>\n
