Chris Hemsworth<\/strong><\/a> (Thor, Furiosa<\/em>) is in talks to star in Paramount Pictures\u2019 Transformers\/G.I. Joe<\/em><\/strong><\/a> crossover movie.<\/p>\n

All I can say to Hemsworth is don\u2019t do it! Run as far away from this project as possible because it\u2019s going to end up being another crap G.I. Joe<\/em> and Transformers<\/em> movie! He should go make another Extraction<\/em> movie instead!<\/p>\n

For some reason, the executive and creative teams at the studio have no clue how to properly handle these film franchises, so they are just throwing shit at the wall and hoping something sticks.<\/p>\n

Producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura<\/strong><\/a> <\/strong>has already admitted that they don\u2019t really have any kind of plan<\/a> in place. When asked what we can expect to see the movie, he said: “The honest truth is I don’t know. I know we are going to deliver on the promise we made.”<\/p>\n

He also previously shared<\/a>: “We don\u2019t plan that far ahead. We react to what the audience is reacting to, so in a way we can please them, but also in a way it makes it feel fresh. We expect there\u2019s going to be some allegiance and they\u2019re going to go on some kind of mission together.”<\/p>\n

The producer also teased the closest thing they have for a plan, saying: “Like every other Transformers movie, the ingredients of the movie is humans and robots get together to stop the villain. The Joes are going to be part of the ingredients now.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added: \u201cWe’re not going into the Joe world, they’re coming into our world. So, if you think about it that way, I think that’s the closest thing to the plan that we have. We now have to figure out the plot we want to do, et cetera, but they will be an active participant, if you would, a few of the characters, in trying to stop the bad guy.”<\/p>\n

They just need to scrap everything they\u2019ve already done and start fresh. I\u2019m not a fan of how Paramount and Hasbro have been handling these film. They could be so much better than what they\u2019ve been delivering, but they just don\u2019t know how to properly tell stories with these amazing characters. <\/p>\n

Mark Vahradian<\/strong>, Michael Bay<\/strong>, Tom DeSanto<\/strong> and Don Murphy<\/strong> are producing. Steven Spielberg<\/strong> and Hasbro Entertainment are Executive Producers. <\/p>\n

What do you think about Hemsworth joining the Transformers\/G.I. Joe<\/em> crossover movie? He also plays Optimus Prime in the upcoming Transformer One<\/em> animated, which doesn\u2019t look very good either. <\/p>\n\n
