If Netflix decides to stick it out with Bridgerton<\/a> <\/em><\/strong>and adapt all the novels, there are going to be more than a few seasons coming our way in the near future.<\/p>\n

With all of its unexpected twists and twirls of the ton in the past two seasons, all eyes are now on Bridgerton <\/em>season 3<\/a> to see what becomes of Colin and Penelope, the new Bridgerton arrival, and Lady Whistledown\u2019s reckoning.<\/p>\n

Season 3 appears to be simultaneously adapting two books from the series; An Offer from a Gentleman <\/em>and Romancing Mister Bridgerton<\/em>, the third and fourth novels, respectively. This is the first time Bridgerton <\/em>has divided its focus, since the first and second seasons covered one book each, The Duke and I<\/em> (centering around Daphne\u2019s story) and The Viscount Who Loved Me<\/em> (depicting the love story between Anthony Bridgerton and Kate Sharma.)<\/p>\n

But regardless of whether this formula continues to shift down the line, one thing is clear: Fans can\u2019t wait to get their hands on more Bridgerton<\/em>, and the two-year wait between seasons isn\u2019t helping matters. How many novels are in the Bridgerton <\/em>series?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Bridgerton <\/em>is a series of Regency romance novels that were published from 2000 to 2006. The main series consists of eight novels, and they are, in order of publication, as follows:<\/p>\n

  1. The Duke and I <\/em>(2000) (Daphne and Simon\u2019s story)<\/li>\n
  2. The Viscount Who Loved Me <\/em>(2000) (Anthony and Kate\u2019s story)<\/li>\n
  3. An Offer from a Gentleman <\/em>(2001) (Benedict and Sophie\u2019s story)<\/li>\n
  4. Romancing Mister Bridgerton <\/em>(2002) (Colin and Penelope\u2019s story)<\/li>\n
  5. To Sir Phillip, With Love <\/em>(2003) (Eloise\u2019s story)<\/li>\n
  6. When He Was Wicked <\/em>(2004) (Francesca\u2019s story)<\/li>\n
  7. It\u2019s in His Kiss <\/em>(2005) (Hyacinth\u2019s story)<\/li>\n

    There are other novels in the saga, of course. One is 2013\u2019s The Bridgertons: Happily Ever After<\/em>, which includes another epilogue for each of the 8 novels in the series. There\u2019s also a story about Violet Bridgerton herself.<\/p>\n

    Author Julia Quinn wrote a spinoff series centering around the Rokesby family and taking place a generation before the main Bridgerton children. These are:<\/p>\n
