AMC has released a teaser trailer for the fourth and final season of Snowpiercer<\/em><\/strong><\/a>. This offers a quick and intense look at the next chapter<\/a> of this post-apocalyptic story.<\/p>\n

Snowpiercer<\/em> is based on the 2013 film of the same name which was itself based on a graphic novel by Jacques Lob<\/strong> and Jean-Marc Rochette<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

The story is set \u201cmore than seven years after the world has become a frozen wasteland, Snowpiercer centers on the remnants of humanity, who inhabit a perpetually-moving train that circles the globe. <\/p>\n

\u201cClass warfare, social injustice and the politics of survival play out in this riveting television adaptation based on the acclaimed movie and graphic novel series of the same name.\u201d<\/p>\n

In Season 2, \u201cMr. Wilford, the creator of Snowpiercer, emerges in season two, ready to take back the train that was stolen from him, creating a new power struggle. <\/p>\n

\u201cThis causes a dangerous rift as passengers are divided between their loyalty to the revolutionary Layton and to Mr. Wilford, who has a new train, new technology and a game plan that keeps everyone guessing. <\/p>\n

\u201cWhile Layton battles Wilford for the soul of Snowpiercer, Melanie (Jennifer Connelly) leads the charge on a shocking new discovery that could change the fate of humanity.\u201d<\/p>\n

In Season 3: \u201cAt the end of Snowpiercer season two, Layton and Ruth , who were banished to Big Alice\u2019s compost car, plotted to take back Snowpiercer. With the help of Javier (Roberto Urbina) and Alexandra (Rowan Blanchard), Layton and Ruth made it back to Snowpiercer and rallied with their supporters. <\/p>\n

\u201cJosie destroyed the Aquarium car, separating Snowpiercer\u2019s head from the remaining 1,023 cars. Season three picks up with Layton (Diggs) and his inner circle commanding a small 10 car \u201cpirate train\u201d in search of Melanie and a possible warm location to restart civilization; while back on Snowpiercer, Mr. Wilford is consolidating power, awaiting Layton\u2019s return.\u201d<\/p>\n

The cast for the series includes Daveed Diggs, Jennifer Connelly, Sean Bean, Rowan Blanchard, Alison Wright, Mickey Summer, Iddo Goldberg, Katie McGuinness,\u202fLena Hall, Annalise Basso,\u202fSam Otto,\u202fRoberto Urbina,\u202fSheila Vand, Archie Panjabi, Clark Gregg<\/strong>, and Steven Ogg<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Courtney Thomasma, Executive Vice President of Streaming for AMC Networks said in a statement: \u201cWe can\u2019t wait to share the final season of this thrill ride of a series with this vibrant fan community and new viewers starting July 21 on AMC and AMC+, with plenty of time built in to catch up on previous seasons on a variety of on demand platforms and AMC+ before then.<\/p>\n

\u201cSnowpiercer<\/em> is an entertaining drama with a great cast and seeing how the ride ends will be a highlight of summer viewing worthy of a 1001-car train.\u201d<\/p>\n

Snowpiercer<\/em> Season 4 is executive produced by Paul Zbyszewski<\/strong> (Lost<\/em>, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D<\/em>, Helstrom<\/em>), Christoph Schrewe<\/strong>; Marty Adelstein<\/strong>, Becky Clements<\/strong> and Alissa Bachner<\/strong> through Tomorrow Studios; Matthew O\u2019Connor<\/strong>, Ben Rosenblatt<\/strong> and Scott Derrickson<\/strong>, along with the original film\u2019s producers Bong Joon Ho<\/strong>, Miky Lee<\/strong>,\u202fJinnie Choi<\/strong>, Park Chan-wook<\/strong>, Lee Tae-hun<\/strong> and\u202fDooho Choi<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

The show is produced by Tomorrow Studios (an ITV Studios partner) along with CJ Entertainment. ITV Studios distributes Snowpiercer<\/em> internationally.<\/p>\n

AMC acquired the rights <\/a>to the series after TNT canceled the show in 2022 when Warner Bros. Discovery was going through its content write-down strategy.<\/p>\n

and they\u2019ve announced that it will premiere on AMC and AMC+ on Sunday, July 21 at 9 pm ET\/PT.<\/p>\n
