It started out normal enough, the date was apparently \u2018super charming,\u2019 but when the friend went to the man\u2019s apartment things started to get a little weird. He offered her a massage and initially she agreed, despite a strong gut feeling that something wasn\u2019t right.<\/p>\n<p>As the massage progressed, the feeling grew stronger until she couldn&#8217;t ignore it anymore. So, despite the man&#8217;s many protests, she decided to leave. That\u2019s not the crazy part though, the crazy part is what she discovered the next morning.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Glen Powell shares story of a friend who went on a date with a cannibal on the Therapuss podcast. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/hwv5noykUO\">pic.twitter.com\/hwv5noykUO<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Pop Base (@PopBase) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/PopBase\/status\/1799491529721143312?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">June 8, 2024<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>The parts where he had applied the lotion started itching badly, forcing the woman to reach out to a doctor, only to discover that the lotion was a &#8220;black market&#8221; product that &#8220;breaks down skin for human consumption.&#8221; What?!<\/p>\n<p>So, if the story is true, then the guy was an actual real-life cannibal and this poor woman came within an inch of being murdered and eaten! He was literally rubbing skin-eating lotion into her skin and&#8230; why is there even such a thing as skin-eating lotion? <\/p>\n<p>So yeah, that\u2019s definitely going to be a few months of therapy for her \u2014 she somehow ended up on a date with the real-life Buffalo Bill from <em>Silence of the Lambs<\/em>. Most dating horror stories I know usually end with the date revealing that they&#8217;ve <a href=\"https:\/\/wegotthiscovered.com\/news\/im-done-with-men-womans-date-goes-from-dream-to-disaster-after-she-finds-out-the-man-is-a-pathological-liar\/\"  rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">already got a girlfriend and they&#8217;re just looking for a side piece<\/a>.
